Perkeso’s EIS Training Assistance is designed to empower individuals with upskilling or reskilling opportunities to re-enter the workforce. To qualify, participants must meet the following requirements:

1. Registered EIS Contributor

  • Must be a registered contributor under the Employment Insurance System (EIS).
  • Ensure your employer has consistently paid monthly EIS contributions under Perkeso guidelines.

2. Unemployment Eligibility

  • Currently unemployed and receiving EIS benefits, including the Job Search Allowance (JSA).
  • Actively seeking employment or planning to enhance skills to improve employability.

3. Program Enrollment Timeline

  • Training must commence within 6 months of receiving your Job Search Allowance (JSA) from Perkeso.
  • Delays beyond this period may disqualify you from EIS Training Assistance benefits.

4. Participation in Approved Training

Enrollment in a Perkeso-approved program, such as MySheqa’s OSH Coordinator Training Program, which is officially recognized by DOSH and meets industry standards.

5. Career Relevance

Demonstrate that the chosen training aligns with your career development goals, particularly for roles in safety, health, and workplace compliance.

6. Submission of Required Documentation

To complete the application, you’ll need:

  • Proof of EIS Status: Your EIS contribution and Job Search Allowance (JSA) record.
  • Identification Documents: A copy of your MyKad and other supporting documents requested by Perkeso.
  • Application Form: Submit all required forms accurately and completely.

7. Additional Conditions

  • You must not have previously received EIS funding for a similar type of training.
    Commitment to attend the full program duration is mandatory.
